Try Parking It Campaign
Try Parking It is a resource for finding travel options like carpool, vanpool, and transit in North Central Texas. You can also track your trips, including biking, walking, and telecommuting to earn instant rewards. The previous ad campaign used the tagline, “Make your commute count” while illustrating various commute modes. In 2023 the program area asked me to redesign the campaign. I was responsible for art direction, graphic design, campaign tagline, and production, crafting a paid campaign that would work across web, print, and transit ads while maintaining the established brand standards.
My concept was to simplify the ad with less text and more meaning. The photo of public transit in the background was reused from the previous campaign. However, a hand-drawn style font was used with a new catchphrase, “Record your commute, earn rewards,” outlining the process as simply as possible and emphasizing the reason to record your commute in the first place. Happily, this social campaign was much more successful than the previous year’s campaign.
This campaign ran on Spotify, in several community websites and newspapers, and in two transit areas. Adsposure nominated this bus ad for Biggest Impact in the Fort Worth area!
